COVID & Equity Civic Mixer & Protothon
October 9-10

Learn the process of the hackathon series, hear the community challenges, and generate ideas for solutions. Government leaders are encouraged to submit applications for their most pressing community challenges in advance of this event. We'll discuss the proposed projects and select which challenge each civic developer group will be working on with an eye towards scalability across the country. 
Time commitment: 3 hours for government, 6 hours for civic developers

COVID & Equity Hackathon
October 23-25

This is where concepts meet code. Groups will be organized to build an open source solution for the issues surfaced in the Protothon. Feedback loops with subject matter experts and government leaders will guide us to long-lasting solutions.
Time commitment: 3 hours for government, 9 hours for civic developers

COVID & Equity at NLC City Summit
November 18-20

A representative from each group will present their solutions at the National League of Cities City Summit. The groups will share the issue, how they approached the problem, and the solution they built. Those who are not presenting will need to register for this event separately.
