Mercer County Reassessment
Making use of the latest mass appraisal technology & proprietary software applications, Tyler Technologies has been contracted to employ uniform standards of mass appraisal practices by collecting exterior property characteristics and use this information along with legacy records, location and recent sales data, to support fair and equitable valuation of real property for Mercer County.
Happening Now
Tentative Value Notices have been mailed out to property owners in Mercer County. This notice has the new value that has been calculated based on the data collected for each property listed at the bottom of the form. As you review this value, ask yourself if you would or could sell your property for the amount listed. If you feel that the value is accurate, you don’t need to do anything more at this time. However, if you feel that the property value is inaccurate you have the opportunity to schedule an informal review meeting with a member of the Tyler Technologies staff in order to present information to support your value. The back page of the Notice includes information on acceptable forms of evidence to support a possible change in value.
Meetings can be scheduled by calling 1-844-314-0625 (toll free), Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You can also self-schedule an appointment by going to www.TylerTech.com/Mercer. Appointments must be scheduled within ten (10) days of the date on the notice.
